I filled out the form o n Linkedin for a free membership.
I received a phone call, that took up nearly an hour of my time, with a very pushy sales lady.
It all sounded a bit suspicious, so while the woman was still on the phone I googled Stanford Who's Who and found this site.
Thank heavens for that. I read a few complaints then immediately said no. Thank god I didn't hand over my credit card details.
Very annoying, and I think Linkedin should ban them from advertising on their site.
