I inadvertently signed up for this company's premium "account" through a pop-up that promised my card would never be charged, it was just a verification process. And yes, I was kind of an idiot for providing my card number but I wouldn't have done it if it didn't say in two separate places that my card wouldn't be charged.
A week later my statement had a 49.95 charge from hdcavern.com which is apparently affiliated with film world media ltd. I checked the hdcavern.com website for cancellation information but both the phone number and email listed didn't work when I tried them. It also prompted me to sign into my account, but since I hadn't created one in the first place, that was Impossible.
I did a little sleuthing and called the number listed for film world and I finally was able to cancel my membership and then was promised a refund even thought the website states they never give refunds.

For the next person that gets scammed by hdcavern.com: the 800 number is actually 855-202-5587. During the automated potion of the call when they ask you to put in a credit card number....don't! Just wait on the line (for maybe two minutes). The system will automatically connect you to an operator. The operator nearly immediately asked if I wanted to cancel my account but I told him that I didn't sign up for an account in the first place so I wanted a refund. He was happy to oblige but the money isn't back in my account so I'll update this post if/when that actually happens. I did get a confirmation number but the operator said he couldn't send me an email because his system didn't allow outgoing emails (LOL, total (Inappropriate Content Removed).
We'll see if the saga continues but I hope this is the end of it.
