I signed up for secret shopper that I revieved by email through career builder, so I thought it would be legit. I recieved an overnite fed ex with a Money Gram money order of $950. I have the phone number of whom texted me with the rest of the information. I was to keep $150.00, spend $30.00 at walmart and rate the service, and put the $770 on a money pack card and send them the number, and rate the service there. I did so, and the money order was ficticious and now I am $950. in the hole. Filing a report, kept the number and the emails, hopefully they will get caught. I wouldnt have guessed that it would be fake since career builder is prety reputable, looks like im just an idiot.

- omg whenever you have to send them money back like that it is always a scam....are you sure it came from CareerBuilder? If it did SHAME on them!!! Please report to CareeBuilder the scam so they can take it off and maybe be more aware of sending out (Inappropriate Content Removed)like that

Based on the information listed within your original post, the message in question does appear to be a payment processing (shipping) scam. It also appears to be a spoof message designed to appear as if it came from a legitimate source or 3rd party company in order to lend it credibility.
We recommend such messages be disregarded and any current or future correspondence attempts related to the message be ignored.
