I get this call about some shopping program. I listen to the presentation. Sounds good, a free gift card, during the trail period, then you can reject the membership after 30 days. $1.00 fee would be charged to my Credit Card, to get started. I say Ok. $1.00 is nothing to loose. Later I was afraid that I may have been taken. I keep checking my bank statement, and only $1.00 was applied. I start getting mail from Shoppers Advantage, Budget Savers, and Great Fun, with membership numbers. I saw my bank statement and a dollar from all three companies were removed. Now let me think,??? I thought I authorized $1.00 from one company, not three. I called to canceled my membership from one and asked about the others. I was told that I had to call each one to cancel. I know $3.00 isn't much to complain about. But I didn't like the fact that one agreement jumped into three, without me knowing. Hell, there might more, yet to come.
Warning: Stay away or get out as soon as possible.
