Received a letter by mail for a approved MasterCard with two options to deposit money in a bank account which they hold for 12 months for the sole purpose to obtain credit and will returned -after 12 monthly payments were made. This was signed by chevis swetman . They had a website and a number that I called 888-998-0585 www.freedomgoldclub.com . Of course on these don't work. At the time I checked there were no complaints because I guess they just started. I foolishly mailed in 500.00 and they have my birthday date and SS number.

- Same situation here! I'm very angry. The only person I reached was a guy named Tom, Operator 318. He has assured me that I will be receiving my check shortly. It has been almost 2 months! When I called back, the few times I was able to reach someone, I heard a baby crying in the background. I now know this has to be a scam because there phone number is an auto message which only refers you to 800.com and their website does not open, it gives a URL error message. We deserve our money back!
