A young person was trying to rent and apartment off of Craigslist. She received a reply email from Jasmine Acosta with a detailed description of a rental property and a request to submit an Tenant Verified background check. We researched for the possibility of a scam, and found out that this is a very COMMON SCAM! The Tenant Verified website is a scam. They charge you $40 for the background check, then you never hear from the "landlord" person again.
