Recent Tesco offer was spend £40 twice in April and get £20 off your next shop in May (by 19th). So I did. First shop on 3rd April and again later in the month. Day after my second shop Tesco email to say you need to shop again! offer validity date had changed to 4th April!!!! What! I emailed them and they asked "ME" to send them their own original offer email (like they didn't believe me). I did this and they replied saying I would get the voucher for £20 off May (as would anyone else who shopped on 1st, 2nd or 3rd April).
Well today I redeemed that voucher code and just had my shopping delivered. Surprise! Tesco have not accepted the £20 off when they processed my shop, yet they did when I entered it during the online purchase.
If you ordered groceries online on 1st, 2nd and 3rd April please check you get your code and that they honored it. I'm waiting to hear back from them, but for folks on a budget this could be a real problem.
Shame on you Tesco... this is not the kind of service people deserve and if you can't get simple offers in order how can people trust you in future?
Highly frustrated and angry that I have to chase Tesco simply to get my weekly groceries.
Posting this to hopefully help others who feel misled or who are unfairly charged this month.
