Got scammed into a subscription but canceled within the alloted 3 days to not be charged anymore. Have a letter from Family Readers Club dated 9/2/2010 stating that I owe $0.00 on the account. Just today I received a letter from a collection agency saying I owe 667.00 for unpaid subscriptions. Called collection agency and left message stating I have a letter stating I owed $0.00 since 2010. When I canceled the bogus subscriptions I was told by Family Readers Club that I will never be billed or bothered. Over the past 3 years I would receive random phone calls about magazines but since I did not have a subscription I told them I did not want magazines but it looks likes the bogus company billed me and then sold it to a collection agency. Where can I get help to get this agency off my back?!
