My name is Evelyn Clemmons and I've been riding dart paratransit for 6yrs and I'm tired of being abused by this company. The lack of effeciency when it comes to customer service is next to none.I'm a senior citizen and this is my only transportation to an from my job I live 15 minutes from where I work and I waited almost 3hrs to get picked up I believe that I am being abused because of my dependcy on this company. Where I work is in the
downtown area and when all the businesses are closed there is the possibilty of me being in danger because there is alot of homelessness in the area that I work there are police downtown during the hours 6:00am to 6:00pm an after that they are not to be found in my area where I work when it comes to me the client if I am not there when they get there they put me down as a no show and I can lose my subscription but when it comes to them leaving me to wait for 3hrs there is no action taken or no compensation they told me today that there was a mixup with the driver who was supposed to pick me up mind you my pick up time is 5:30pm they tell me that I can't call them until 20 minutes have gone after my scheduled pick up time and this has been happening to me for the past 3mths at least 2 times in a week and I am sick and tired of this and I want to be compensated because I am a diabetic and I have to take certain meds at certain times and also I have to eat at specific times I am 73yrs old and my daughter is my caregiver and she too is very upset When you call them there is no action taken to ensure that this does not keep happening to my knowledge and from my experience there has been no repremand and no consequences when it comes to Dart Paratransit drivers and dispatchers I am writing in hope that I can be compensated for their neglect in diong their job to make sure that me the customer is accomedated for their blatent screw ups that don't make any sense Please let me know if you can help me with this issue my phone #(Personal Information Removed)
