My son was at Lowes, Jacksonville, NC to purchase a appliaacne for my mother's day gift (no I was not there in person). He is a 23 year Marine and he was there with his military ID (as they are given 10% off purchases). The store rep he was talking to call the Lowes here in Thomasville (as this is my home city) to make the purchase. He was told my son would have to be here in Thomasville in person to receive his discount. He was paying for it there to have it delivered to me here. My complaint is one store talking to another with the proof of ID in his hand what was the problem why was he no able to use his ID and receive the discount. It would ok for my son to call direct himself to Thomasville and give his credit card infomation over the phone but not able for a sister store to call another for a purchase and not be able to use his ID is not acceptable. At this time I am uncertain if I want him to purchase from Lowes here in Thomasville even when he visits June 1. I truly belive in Customer Service and I feel it was not delivered.
