I would like to file a complaint against Diane Harvey. I had contacted her through craigslist in regards to a macbook pro 17inch. I communicated with her for 3 days. She also mentioned a company by the name parcels please toronto and how she would pay the transfer cost and the 5 day shipping method and her address as well. I transferred the money checked the transaction today may 13, 2013 and come to find out the site doesnt exist nor my tracking number. Previously i contacted parcels please customer care and told them i thought they were fraud and they insisted they werent.Atrached is the email from her:Hi, I am getting back to you regarding the 15" MacBook PRO from Craigslist

My name is Diane and I am now in Toronto.
Please take a look at the pictures attached to this email.
The Mac is in perfect shape.
Everything that came with the Mac is included (warranty as well).
I tried to be as thorough as I could with the presentation so you can have all the info if you decide to go ahead and buy it.
Let me know.

Thanks,
Diane

I have found a company called Parcels Please that will deliver the Mac to you in the US and allow you to check the Mac before I receive the payment. You will be in control of your money and I will be in control of my Mac.
I will use 5 day delivery and I will take care of the shipping fee.
Please have a look at their procedure and we will go from there.

  • Hello Oscar, My name is Dawn and I work for ParcelsPlease.com (part of CCL 'Consolidated Carriers Ltd) in Scotland, UK. Unfortunately it seems you have been involved in a scam set up by individuals in Canada. They have been posting fake items on Craigslist, encouraging payment through fraudulent websites (which are a clone of our own, using our company name and logo) and then never shipping any goods. We at CCL have been doing everything we can to shut these fraudulent websites down and have been in touch with the relevant authorities in both the UK and Canada.

We do sympathise that you've been caught up in the scam and hope you're able to retrieve your money from the individuals soon.

    Kind regards,
    CCL
