my husband arrived in ghana on monday may 6 from new york , he sells crude oil on ship, they are allow a gun with papers documents , i believe when he left for ghana he took the wrong gun , was the captains so custom said they wanted the captain to come to ghana wit the document of his gun so he flew there on friday , instead of releasing my husband the custom say they want 2300 bond bail for him or he go to jail, now why is custom asking for mony , the papers are there, nothing bad happen , why these people scamming us canadians

this also happened to a friend of mine...they put him in jail for 1 month...because his visa expired the day before...and physically stopped him from getting on the plane..and fined him $15,000 and the time in jail..they do that to all white people...doesnt matter where you are from..they are crazy there

Dont judge a book by its cover, I have been a victim to Ghana scam and dont believe anything from Ghana accept authorities.
With report to the Ghana Consultae, i was given the cyber section unit to file a report(info.ghanapolice at consultant dot com) who assisted me in investigation and apprehending scammers.Beware of Ghana scam! -

Be advised that the Ghana Police Service website is http://www.police.gov.gh/ not a domain ending in info.com. Furthermore, Ghana Police use email addresses ending in .gov.gh, not @consultant.com. Any post or site recommending info.ghanapolice at consultant dot com is false and is a criminal attempting to scam you. For additional information, contact the U.S. Embassy or real Ghana Police.
