I took my tax to Roxannes accounting firm in March, Never heard from her. each time I called with concern I never had a return call, I got in my car taking my lunch from work and drove there, On April9th I voiced concerns about the deadline April 15th. She stated with a chuckle I will have it done the day or night before, You can take it that night, I stated I needed to know if I owe money and how much she was charging, The answer was I don;t know until I'm finished.Well
I will have it done on Saturday and will contact you, Saturday no call. Monday tax deadline no call, I need to sat down with you to go over my tax, Her response no I have everything, May came I called no return call. I went back down there 5 more times each time she stated they will be done the next day. No return call, I went back I will have it done next day and by the way could you get me a copy of your lst year tax I stated just use what I have but I took a copy hopng it would not delay her any longer. two weeks later after that I said I wanted everything back Oh she stated I will finish them next day. Next day she was;nt in her office again. Today May 5th I picked up my return and paid her. Took them home and she never even used any information on my rental property given to her it was all wrong. I had to take them to another accountant and he redid them and I paid a second person to file my tax, Totally different than what she estimated. Now I'm told I will be penalized for late payment even though she filed an extension because I owe money which I will have to pay. This has been a night mare and I so hope people will not have to deal with this unprofessional conduct with their returns. Please do not use this person.
