there was a postal money order sent to me from the above mentioned person. to be a secret shopper, in which I was to cash at my bank, or deposit therein, afterward, send certain amount of the total to another person. a mr.J Phillips. but I decided I should be skeptical since it involved "my bank", and "federal postal services." so as soon as I went to check this out, then I found this site with many similarities of issues. so all moves are off.

- I had the same thing happen to me on Craig's list they wanted to buy my hot tub and was sending me a check for $3,000.00, they said to take the $700.00 which I was asking for the tub and they wanted me to send the other money to someone else. My husband took the check to the bank but never cashed it just left it in there, because I knew it was a scam. I went by my bank and told them the check was no good but they had to wait to see, so the money just stayed in there, finally I decided to call the company that the check was drawn off and they had never heard of the guy and said that someone had stole checks from them, anyway finally the bank sent me the check back as no good just like I knew it was a scam. I was not out of anything because I didn't cash the check like the guy wanted me to. He would of gotten away with money and I would of probably went to jail for fraud. I learned my lesson cash only no checks.
