A few months ago, I received a call from this company and spoke to a representative (Paul) and he told me I was entered into a $25,000 sweepstake and if I subscribed to these magazines, I’d be offered a diamond watch. BUT he needed credit card confirmation in order to do the process, so I got sucked into it. But with the bad feelings I got after the phone call, the NEXT day I went to my bank to see if any withdrawals had been made from my account, and my suspicions were correct as they took $57.50 from my account. I asked my bank to cancel the card and they forwarded my scam suspicion to their investigation services. I received a call again a few days later, and the representative said my payment was past due and I didn’t cancel my subscription in time but when I argued I did, he said “Who did you speak to? When? You’re going to have to say more than just “I did. And that I could be reported to a collection agency” And then he hung up on me, I called the 1800-784-0232 number and what a coincidence, I spoke to a representative named ‘Ashley’. Who told me I wasn’t able to cancel my subscriptions since I ‘missed’ the deadline, but that they hadn’t received ANY payments since I subscribed but she offered me a 10% discount if I continued to pay. I said no thank you and hung up. These people are VERY persistent as they have been calling non-stop ALL DAY. But I confirmed with my bank that no money has been taken out of my account ever since I got a new card.
