Recieved an email and follow up phone call about a contract job. A little flaky, but ok until they said their client (Chlorox) required the last 5 digits of my SS# and my date of birth.

It sounded like a phishing scam, so I declined. Shortly after I got a call from the "recruiter"'s "manager". He went on and on about how secure their systems were and how honest the company was. The icing on the cake was when he said they had been "cleared" by the FBI.

The more he talked, the more obvious it was a scam...
