I was just checking my balance on my EDD Debit Card (Employment Development Department)and noticed this amount deducted from my balance. I have no idea who this company is, nor how they where able to get my debit card number. Especially since this card was issued by the State of California EDD office for unemployment benefits to be deposited into, I can not even add to this account. Today 4/26/13 I have contacted the banking institute & have filed a claim & they are cancelling this card. I have already checked my other banking accounts and they have not been compromised but I will be double checking again.
Update: 04/26/2013
I noticed several other complaints are on the same date & same $ as mine. I wonder if these where processed from the same banking institute?
