Ms. Dyer was listed on the Antiques Roadshow link. I called her with questions about an appraisal. She asked for photos of the items and requested a check for $60. She, in return, would send an appraisal report. When I received the report, several of the photos were missing; the report was obviously unprofessional--like something off of Wikipedia and with misspelled words; and given the info I relayed by phone completely fabricated by whoever sent the report. I do not know if someone has found a way to tap into the real Ms. Dyer's business but in any case it is a fraud. My interest is not so much the money but that other people may be ripped off as I have been, including the credentials of Ms. Dyer. Thanks for any help you can give.
