The DAM Group contacted me via email after viewing my resume on careerbuildier.com and after the completion of several online applications and forms they offered me a job wit h their auction 2company. The site and European aution they show online looks legit (www.damb2b.com) but the USA extension of this company and the job offered to me was a scam. I was given a trainer to work with who requested my PayPal account email info and a bank account although the bank account wasn't a requirement. Several day after giving my trainer this info I received a $5,200 payment to my PayPal account from a gentleman I was told by my trainer had purchased something from the DAM Group auction site. To process this payment I was to move it to my bank account, withdraw it and, send it out to two individuals via Western Union who I was under the impression were the sellers of the auction item. Two days after withdrawing and sending the money out less my commission amount I was contacted by PayPal stating they were investigating the payment I had received to my account because it was not authorized by the sender. When PayPal concluded their investigation they determined that the sender had not authorized the payment. PayPal repaid the sender their funds and my PayPal account is now negative for that amount. The day I began emailing my trainer about the problem with PayPal is the day I stopped receiving return emails from my trainer. I tried emailing the initial HR person that had recruited me and even tried emailing some the emails listed on the European auction site all with no reply. The have a phone number they give that is simply a recording, you'll never talk to a person at that number. They state in the application process an hourly pay of $25 per hour which isn't paid until the 30 day training process is complete which you won't complete because the whole job is a scam. I'm doing this report because the main reason I even took the job was because when doing a Google search for the company nothing came up as being a scam but that will change today. Thanks.
