I had purchased a holiday packages on their promotional offer for Rs 5949 from the Vacationsgateway.in. One package is for 4 persons for 4 nights and 5 days in 5/3 star hotels in India and abroad (list of hotels and places provided) could be used within 12 months but additionally offered certain promotional free gifts also. I had been told by vacations gateway representative that I would be provided a free gift if I had a confirmed the order on the same day. I was also said that I would have to give 15-20 references which I had done as per their request. But so far I have not received any confirmation regarding the free gift. I was also told that about one out of five gifts and I had opted for dell mini laptop.
I am regularly trying to contact the number from which their representative had called but the number is coming switched off. I had also informed about this some days back to their some customer care person and she had told me that she will get back to me in a day. But so far there is no response.
For one transaction i had received three IDs which are also surprising now.
Though they promised the gifts within 10 days of purchasing the package even after completing more than one month, nothing is done. Their site is frequently changing and now it is ‘vacationsgateway.in’. The telephone numbers they provided are: 08285406961, 8010531550, 9990132350, 01203146539, 9716166433, and 9873975069. As it is found they are either fraud or untrustworthy, it is requested to compensate and refund the amount and save others from their cheating.
