Recieved an unsolicited invitation to see Scott McGillivray in person. He is the host of HGTV's Income Property and purported partner in this shill company. He also mentioned he lives in Ft. Myers, Fla. In this letter, you are invited to a free seminar on real estate wealth building. This was held in Tampa at the Embassy Suites off Fowler Ave. Additionally, they sell you on the idea that you can generate additional cash flow every month using thier strategies, by having access to properties via PROP TREND software; (a website, I discovered that does not even work). It is similar to Realty Trac. How to get $500K in loans for real estate, easily, from another one of thier Funding companies- without a credit check or appraisal. Income properties you can flip overnight and how to acquire tax liens on properties, and the like. At the end of the seminar, it all sounded great. Then, with excitement and momentum in the room- they herd you like cattle to the back to sign up for additional educational materials at the cost of $1,997.00 and a 3- day seminar next week- "Do not lose out on this great opportunity!!" It was seemingly too good to be true. Though I signed up for this, when I got home I looked up online if there were any scams involved with this company and McGillivray. I found alot posted, and boy was I sick to my stomach reading about false information or non-useful information provided. When I opened the box- there were 3 manuals and 4 dvd's. About $200 worth of materials, NOT $2000.00 !!

I went to the 3-day seminar the following week to see how much more money these people were attempting to heist from the other 'future investors' there. At the end of the all-day long presentation- by a guy named Paul Young (from Tampa, he said); again people were herded back to the table and then signed up for $39,997.00- for "Platinum" information and a trip to Vegas for a 3-day seminar. They even offer to pay for hotels and flights out there. In reading other reviews and rip-off reports from people who actually did this they were sadly disappionted and promises made to them were again not fullfilled. One complaintant stated they went to Lowe's to talk about rehabbing and costs. ANY idiot can to that- as Lowe's is nationwide. Many tried to get thier money back or return materials- that were 'undeliverable.' There were many seniors there, and I thought the bastards are taking away- fraudulantly; someone's life savings. It takes me 3 weeks of working to make $2K, the amount I paid for my materials. They want all of your financial information and credit card info as well then take you outside to counsel you and see if you are credit worthy enought to get the "Platinum" deal. It made me sick and I did not go for that part of the deal, but 75% of people there did. They made about $ 4 million in sales that day, I figure. I left, disgusted and did not go back for the other days of that SCAM seminar. Poor unfortunate fools just got $40K put on thier credit cards- that will never be refunded and only to get useless info. Additionally, you get to 'buy' a home during the Vagas trip and generate monthly cash flow from that purchase, in Detroit or Phoenix, etc. Some complaintants, have yet to recieve any of that promised income either. This company NEEDS to be stopped and McGillivray needs to be fired from HGTV !!! Shameful and deceptive business practice. FRAUD !!!
