I ORDERED THE 12 MONTH XBOX LIVE FOR MY TWO NEPHWES AND I PLACED THE ORDER THEN YOU WERE TO RECIEVE A CODE VIA EMAIL. WELL I NEVER RECIEVED A CODE. I SUBMITTED A TICKET AND ADDED MANY NOTES ON THIS TICKET AND GOT NO RESPONSE I CALLED LEFT SEVERAL MESSAGES AND GOT NO RESPONSE. THIS Was ALL OVER A FIVE DAY PERIOD AND NEVER ONCE GOT A RESPONSE. THIS COMPANY BROKE THE HEARTS OF MY TWO NEPHEWS WHO AGES ARE 9 AND 10 YRS OLD. PLUS I NEVER GOT A REFUND OR ANYTHING. THIS COMPANY IS AWFUL AND SHOULD BE PROSECUTED.....

I was scammed by this website aswell. Best thing you can do is request a chargeback from your bank.
I requested a chargeback, they sent me out a form which I filled in. A week later the £27.77 they ripped me off for was back in my bank account.
It doesn't matter whether you used a debit or credit card, you can still request a chargeback. However, if you paid through paypal you may run into difficulties if you used "preloaded" money as the transaction would then have been with paypal and not instagamepoints.com. In this situation you will almost certainly not be granted a chargeback request.
By the way, instagamepoints.com has disappeared of the internet now. So the scammer will have probably set up another website on a different domain.
I suppose the moral of the story is if it looks too good to be true it probably is. I ended up getting my xbox live membership from Sainsbury's for £34.99 instead.
If you do attempt a chargeback I wish you good luck. Just remember to be as detailed, accurate and thorough as you can be with the information you provide for the chargeback. If you aren't you will just prolong the process. -
