Saw TV advertisement and ordered the book for $10.00. Charged to my AMEX card
When order arrived the total applied to my card was
$54.97. Their lie was that they were sending hard covers volumes and that it was $19.99, they also included two other books that were $19.99, & $14.99.
these were also supposed to be hard cover versions.
In truth they were all three paper backs. Not to mention that the TV ad did not specify a particular
cover. This is a complete rip off. When I called them regarding their error I was told that they would give a $10.00 discount on the order and/or that I could return the order at my expense. Even instructed me to add insurance on the return.
I have done so and have also lodged a complaint with the BBB. Save yourself the hassle, don't do business with these thieves. I have also notified AMEX of their fraudulant behavior.
