This company is full of con-artists. They try to scam people out of their money. They call you on the phone after having all of your information on file.(Your telephone number, address, credit/debit card information, etc.) They tell that you've been entered into a 1 million dollar lottery and that you will receive a complimentary watch and 3 magazines in the mail. They say that all you have to do is sign some type of release form. They never tell you you have to purchase their magazine subscription to get these things. Some young girl called me and after speaking with her I really didn't understand the terms of us. (Why would a company send you these items for free nothings ever free) So I asked to speak with her manager he got on the phone asked me how her service was I said she was sweet but I didn't understand the terms of use. He said that basically I just subscribed to their magazines. I was like I never gave you guys any of my information he basically told me that they already had it on file and they put me on this 66 dollar a month payment plan for 2 years. I told him that I'm a college student and I really don't have funds to waste and that I didn't want the magazines he told me that he couldn't cancel it he could only give me half of the money back. So I was like that makes no sense. You can only give back half but not the whole thing why is that? He transferred me over to a customer service rep I told that person what happened and he said that they would send a cancellation letter in the mail.I'm smarter than that so I filed a claim with my bank and ended up getting all of my money back and getting a whole new account. Now they don't have access to any of my funds but they are trying to trap me. The next month I received a bill in the mail so I called the company back and told them that I am no longer affiliated with them. They basically said you can't cancel your account through your bank you have to cancel through them. I told them that I never received my cancellation letter and they basically said that there is only a 3-day cancellation period. Which is so dumb. So I asked why they said they would send a letter if that was the case? A letter takes more than 3 days to receive and write back to. So the man basically became irate and I told him that they were frauds because they never even sent me any goods. Why would I send you money and your not even sending the goods? He said because I agreed to it which I didn't. That makes me believe that they are frauds. The next month they sent me magazines and I sent them back. I'm going to continue to send the magazines and the letters back. They have started to become very irate. They call me on the phone and leave threatening messages. AS a consumer I have rights how can I put this to a stop?
