on March 29, 2013, I contacted sprint customer service inquiring about my upgrade time. I was informed that the scheduled upgrade for my account was June of 2013. Because of the problems I was experiencing I needed to upgrade immediately. The representative quoted me a price of 120.00. When I entered the store, I was informed that the fee was 175.00 and since the sprint representative quoted me a price of 120.00 that they would have to override the fee so that I am charged 120.00. I again contacted sprint, they acknowledged the error and agreed to charge me 120.00. I was told that it would take 45 mins for the process to be overrode in the system so that the store representative could complete my transaction. after a hour i contacted sprint again and was told that they were working on the issue that it would take a few more minutes. approximately 2 hours later, i again contacted sprint and was told that the issue had been taken care of and that i could proceed with my purchase. the store representative again entered into my account and notice that there was not a fee being charged at all. I was never informed that this fee will be on my bill. I was informed by the store representative that "SPRINT HAD WAIVED THE FEE" not that "sprint had waived the fee so I had to pay later"

I charged the purchase of the equipment on my Discover card and was prepared to pay any other charges that was necessary. I was never charge any other fees until I received a bill.

  • Sprint has theeeee WORST customer service EVER! My husband has been a customer for about 12 years and we don't get any perks!!! The phone rep will tell you something totally different then what you get at the actual store. For instance the phone rep will tell you to go to the store to get technical support and they'll tell you the store hours and then when you get there the store rep will say you need be at the store an hour before the store closes to get technical support. They close an hour before the store supposedly because they need to do more to close out at the end of the night. And then when Tech support does help, they usually tell you there's nothing they can do, so they have to do a master reset on the phone which usually doesn't work.... And then they try to sell you a new phone... Go figure! Sprint is HORRIBLE!!
