I received an envelope from the Bombardier Group INC. with a letter and a check for $1995.20 regarding a "job" as a mystery shopper. Although the letter states that the check must be activated by going to www.bombardiergroupinc.com, the site is no longer available. I looked up the routing number to see if it belongs to a Bank of America branch, and it actually does, but the account number cannot be confirmed.

- So why would any reputable company send a sizable check like that to deposit for work that hasn't been done yet? And if it's an invalid check, what do they have to gain? Sounds very fishy to me!
