We were looking to do a loan modification with our mortgage company and found NLA on the internet. Called the phone number and talked to Elan Booker who then directed us to NLA and talked with him for hours. He told us to if we pay them 899 a month for three months they would take our case and work with our mortgage company to modify our loan. I told him we could not pay them and our mortgage at the same time. He told me that it would be no problem and they would add to the end of the loan. We have been faxing and sending them updated bank statements and check stubbs now for 8 months. They told us that we were going to the underwriters for two months now. When I tried to call them now for the last three weeks the lines are busy or disconected. I am very close to loosing my home and I am very upset at the fact that I have lost this money and could very possibly loose my home. They told me not to pay my mortgage as being late would help my case by the time I realized something was fishy I was so far behind in my mortgage that I will possibly loose my home.
