I checked my on line banking checking account and saw this charge in processing for avg.com nicosia. I looked on line to see who/what this is and realized that I never authorized this. I called my bank and they said that the money would be paid to avg.com nicosia inasmuch as they somehow had gotten enough of my information to authenticate authorization for the charge, but that I could dispute the charge through the B of A disputes department. I am not looking forward to that, which I am sure will be less than simple, fast, easy... I am writing this complaint as I feel totally violated, like my money is not safe. It totally frigthens me that this company has gotten into my checking account and is getting my money. I am going to the bank in the morning to speak with staff there on site as to how to prevent this from happening in the future. I will call the dispute dept and do all that work, which is so time consuming... It's very scary. There are so many complaints about avg.com nicosia that clearly this is huge problem, i.e., not random, but rampant.
