8-20-2012 - Requested the free 30 day sample of Lipo Slim and Natural Cleanse. Cost to me was to be only $4.95. What they do not tell you is that it is $4.95 each AND they automatically put you on something called auto-ship where they send you the next 30 day supply and charge your card $79.99 and $64.95 each month. 9-25-2012 - I caught it on my statement and called 888-242-6470 to cancel. They agreed to cancel future payments. That part did work fine. When I ask them what I am to do with the products I did not approve, they said I had to ship it back to them priority mail and registered. I did both and tracked it. I received a notice from USPS showing it was signed for on 9-28-2012. 11-2-2012 - called 888 number spoke with Kelly, said supervisor would call me in 24 hours (wrong). 11-7-2012- called 888 number and spoke with Noel, said they were refunding $144.94, and waving restocking fee. Told I would receive refund on 11/10/12 (3-5 business days) (wrong again). 11-13-2012 called and told they could not refund because product not received. When I told them the tracking number and who signed for it, they changed their story and told me that they were going to escalate this to their Resolutions department.

3-11-13 called 888, spoke with Joanie and asked for resolutions department, told someone would call within 24 hours. No call received.I informed them i closed the credit card used and that the refund would need to be by check.

3-15-2013 called 888 spoke with Joy, supervisor, was told it was their error due to an error in the field, whatever that means, forwarded to resolutions dept, got someone named Christine, guaranted a check would be mailed shortly, told they are having payables issues and a new software being installed, told I would be contacted to confirm conversation by email (and I did receive it same day), no check number provided but told it would be emailed to me, never was. 888-789-2205.

4-8-2013 - emailed christine asking where my refund check is. no answer back.
4-9-=2013 called 888 number 7 times no answer and hung up on.
4-10-2013 - called 3 times still no one available to take call.
4-10-2013 pm spoke with Jacob Dentice and told it would be escalated again.

FRUSTRATED...not sure what to do next???? Suggestions?

  • 6-26-2013 8:15 AM CST - Spoke with someone called Aspen at 888-242-6470 and she said they are a 3rd party answering service and cannot to a thing to help me. Found a new posting for LipoSlim, address of 10115 E. Bell Rd., Suite 107-227, Scottsdale, AZ 85260, is McDowell Mountain Marketplace according to Google map. submitted an email to website - healthierbalance.com, auto response received saying I will be contacted, right!
    called 888-376-5386, number on website, asked for escalation, got Nicole then Lacey, she said it shows my account is in review at corporate office (since 9/2012?) what is there to review? she claims she will get back to me with check number. Told that before too, so not believing her. Contacted ABD's The Lookout and submitted a request to be on their show with this information. Emailed [email protected] and [email protected] and got auto replies from both saying I will be contacted within 24-48 hours, not believing this one either. Heard this before too.

  • I would like to bring this claim up-to-date, but your system will not allow me the opportunity to do so. This company also goes by the following:
    Health Products, LLC
    11259 E. Via Linda Drive
    Suite 100-975
    Scottsdale, AZ 85259
    (I am still not sure this is a valid address. According to Google maps, it is a vacant mall and neighboring stores say there is no such tentant.)
    This company recently contacted me to let me know the reason they refused to refund the money was due to a policy that they have in place that states once an RMA number is provided, the customer has only 30 days to return the product for full refund. In this case I did what they requested. I returned it in 14 days, registered mail with signature required. They accepted it but seemed to lose it somewhere in their factory. Their error, not mine. The money ($144.94) was refunded on July 25, 2013 via two checks from the above address, Bank of America checks. I did contact The Lookout (abc.com) and they were successful in locating the owner and getting my refund. I am hoping they will continue to pursue the remaining refunds needed for other customers.
