Online dating site - met this man back in January 2012 - charming and said he lived in Redlands California. We emailed back and forth and the IMd. He promised all sorts of things, and I was cautious yet believing him. He said he was going to South Africa to work on his certification for the Millenium Project for Women and children of poverty and sent me a certifcation to support this. He said he worked in big business of gold and diamond trading. Sent documentations to support financial information. He left to SA in late Feb 2013 and kept in contact over there with me. I did a background search and came up with his picture and same information. So I thought he was telling me the truth. He then asked me to pick up some electronics for him at Best buy for the clinics he was building. No money from me. So I thought I was doing a good deed and picked them up and the would shp the via FED EX to his instructions and address. I did this twice . not thinking anything of this as I did not have to pay. He sent a text to the FED EX people with the credit card information. They shipped out. Then as time went on I became leary of this. I refused to ship any further items or pick them up. He asked me to purchase a camera for a documentary that cost 1900.00 USD and I refused. He got very angry and we stopped further contact Then out of the blue he contacted me again to go pick up computers at Best Buy and I refused to anything further I removed him from my contact information. He had a phone and would text me as well He called me and he sent me beads as a gift too I truly believed this guy was real. Then I got a fed ex bill in the mail. It was for 1000.00 to me. I contacted him and told him he had to wire this money immediately to me I would turn him over to the authorities! He contacted me today and told me I was a fool, he could not be touched and he is a scammer that does this for a living and is a 17 year old male in guanna. Now mind you , I am not a dumb woman. I am 54 single divorced, I am a Registered nurse, intelligent, and never did on line dating in my life. Now I have had this horrible experience and financial stuff. I need help . I saved every ounce of documentation from him regarding the directives to get the items. the emails, the chats, the addresses, his name. his phone number. I ran a back ground check as best as I could with his name and Redlands california. His picture was the same as what he sent me. This went on for about three months. Can you help me?
