My name is Terrence Lee . My mailing address is (Personal Information Removed). Currently I live and work overseas in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina due to my employment with the U.S. State Department. Due to my upcoming departure from the Sarajevo embassy June 2013, I was looking online for a time-rental apartment in Honolulu Hawaii. I have visited various websites but I later came to www.zillow.com . I was interested in this unit:

I wanted this unit from July 6, 2013 to August 1, 2013. On March 27, 2013, I paid via Western Union $2875.00 to a Kevin Hoffman. His email is: [email protected]. He tells me that his phone number is 1-646-504-1965. I also see on the internet that he advertised this same unit on:

He says that his manager (Ozomo Victor, 3747 Donnell Drive, Forestville, Maryland 20747) is to pick up the Western Union check. That address belongs to a Penn Mar Apartment complex in Forestville MD. On March 28, 2013, I called to Penn Mar Apartment complex and they told me that they do not know of a Ozomo Victor. I am currently working with Western Union on this case. My personal email is [email protected]. My U.S. State Department email is [email protected]. I can be reached via my international cell phone at 1-209-244-7975. Please note that Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina is 6 hours ahead of the United States east coast. Western Union’s MTCN number is 2877910852. Today (April 1, 2013) at 1101 local Sarajevo time I noticed that I received an email from Paypal stating the below:


You changed your address
Dear Terrence ,
This is just a quick confirmation that you changed an address in your PayPal account.
Here are the details:

Address: (Personal Information Removed)

I did not authorize this address change and I suspect that this came from Kevin Hoffman. I have been defrauded because I have never been able to speak to Kevin Hoffman on either of his telephone numbers. I have also received this email from him below on March 28, 2013:

Sorry for the late response as I have been extremely busy today. I hope you are doing fine? Please note that you are to obtain your own tenancy ID with which your profile will be created in the tenant’s database of association that I am registered under and also your own security ID card will be prepared. This ID will ensure your free access into the apt building anytime of the day. I am deeply sorry for not pre-informing you of the tenancy ID fees. It is a recent development to improve on the security of lives and property of residents (tenants) living in the building.


I will need to secure the community Tenancy ID for you prior to your arrival.The tenancy ID is community identification you will require as a tenant within the

community my apartment is located.To obtain the Tenancy ID, you are required to make payment of the following.


1.Tenancy ID Fee: $150



2.Building Rentals Insurance: $2,500 (Fully Refundable) Making a total of $2,650.


You are to make the payment to my manager so that your ID can be processed immediately.


Please note that the Rentals Insurance fee will be refunded to you on your move in date.

You can make the payment with the same information you have. Be also informed that the ID's will be ready in couple of days time and I'll have it mailed to the address you have provided and also with the keys to the apartment.
