The initial charge of $349 was done on Feb. 28th and the $6000 was done on March 1st. I got a call from a Marketmax rep. stating that their charges to help people invest safely in the stockmarket without losing money is usually $349 a month but now they have a special for only $349 a year. I thought I could learn and try it. That was on a Thursday. After getting my credit card information for the $349 charge, she said someone would be calling me the next week. I was angry and said if I am going to invest I want to start doing it now! She had someone call me the next day, March 1st, a Friday afternoon. He said they provide training wheels like on a child's bicycle, to help investors learn to invest in the stock market so they don't loose money. He said he was getting returns of 30% to 40% in 2 weeks and after many persuasions he got my three other credit card information for $6000 because I understood my money was going to be invested and I would share in those large returns. He said he wanted me to watch some videos, and they could help me build an $80,000 "nest egg" for myself. He wanted to get my electronic signature online so I asked him to call me back in 20 minutes so I could read what I was signing beforehand. He said we could read it together, which he proceeded to do. I know he never read over what my signature was inserted on because I would have never signed if I knew I was paying $6000 for videos which I very possibly could not understand. I know my own brain capabilities and would never have signed that. He never stated that I was paying $6000 for the videos. They sent them to me on a flash drive which I received on March 8th, a Friday evening a week later. I started watching them (53 videos approx. each about 15 minutes long) and they were very complicated with a lot of nothing but guess work involved. March 11th I called to ask my many questions and was finally able to talk with someone on March 12th. I asked about my $6000 and the returns that were coming to me in a couple of days. The Supervisor of Customer Service said they do not invest money. A person has to have a broker to invest, which they never told me neither did I know. He then told me I had paid $6000 for their videos. I told him I never was told that and begged for his mercies. They refuse to refund the money, saying that I have their "secret information" which I might have downloaded onto my computer. This is ridiculous. I start physically shaking watching those videos that are so complicated. The local police told me I don't have to watch any of their videos. I have never downloaded their videos and barely watched a fraction of them. I want nothing to do with Marketmax and Investmax, and I want my money back. Please help me!
