My husband and I bought a 2001 Chevy mini van venture from a man named Edwardo/owner of the establishment. When we were about to purchase the mini van we had noticed that the check engine light was on, no heat, and the van over heated. Edwardo claimed that he could fix all the problems by changing the water pump and we would change the thermostat. Edwardo also claimed that if the water pump and thermostat didn't fix the problem he would take the van back and fix the problem. My husband and I agreed to this deal and when my husband drove off the lot with the van he only made it 2 miles down the road. We had to have the van towed back to our house. We called Edwardo when we go home to complain about the van and he kept telling us that if we changed the thermostat it would fix everything, but it didn't. So my husband decided to have the van towed to two garages for diagnostic testings only to find out there is a lot of engine damage. We called Edwardo to inform him of the findings and he now refuses to fix the problem or give us our money back. We have yet to drive the van as of today or get Edwardo to fix the van. He keeps making excuses or he keeps trying to ask us for more money to fix the engine.
