Filled out an on-line loan app. then received call from California Cash Advance. Wanted loan for 1500.00. They stated I was approved and told me I would have to secure the loan with a 150.00 deposit. Called and gave them numbers from green dot. After this I was contacted by there loan dept. do the said, stating I would need another card in amt of 250.00 dollars for transfer fee from federal reserve to my bank. Borrowed money from friend for that card and called them with number. Now they are telling me my state is not a tax free state and I need to pay them 439.00 to cover my state tax? This is definitely some type of scam. Very upset with myself for falling for this. Desperate people do desperate things. This is so wrong! I spoke with a Jason White, Johnny Scott and a couple others. Had hardtime understanding them all. TThat should have been my first clue.
