I purchased a car from this dealership in April 2010 for what she said the value of the car was $5,000 with a deposit of $900. She financed the balance. I immediately began telling the owner about mechanical problems I was experiencing(power steering, head gasket leaking, air conditioning, struts, lower control arm...) she said I had to service my car monthly. I didn't think much of it, I paid a shop to change my oil and do a tune up, the month after I purchased my car. In June 2010, my car was vandalized and my insurance company paid her shop to repair the car. They advised me that the car value is far less then what I paid for it. I discussed it with her she agreed to re-do the paperwork and bill of sale for $3,500, my mother was my witness. I came to the shop to make my payment and resigned all documents. She stated she could not give me my copy of the paperwork, because she needed it for motor vehicles, but she would mail me my copy(she said the same thing in April) My mother and myself have made numerous attempts to get my copy, she always made excuses. October 15th 2010 someone hit my car, she advised me to bring my car and the insurance check to her so she may repair the car correctly. I asked her what about all the mechanical problems, she stated she will take care of that also. I took her the car and check in November 8, 2010, she took sixty days to return my car to me, but it rode worse than before. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the car, and she stated once again it's because I need to maintain the car each month. February 28th someone hit my car again, the other person's insurance company accepted liability, and gave me a list of damages from a prior accident that were hidden under the car. As I read them I realized these were most of the damages on the previous accident report, that Quality Imports was paid to repair. I called the owner to advise the findings, she advised she did her job and would not make any mends for what was on that report. I continued making my payments on time each month as well as requesting my copy of the bill of sales. Never received my copy of the bill of sales.
I called her the beginning of June to try to get a payoff, I was just tired of dealing with her. She advised me that I owed her $4,800 per her records. I asked her how is that possible when the original sale price was $3,500 and I've paid her $100 each month since June 2010. She stated give me $4,000 and we will call it square. I stated I needed to see my bill of sale and what interest rate she was suppossedly charging me. She said once again she did not have time to get that now, was too busy. June 22, 2011 someone hit my car once again, because of the investigation is ongoing, my insurance company assessed the car as a total loss, said the value of the car was $1,974.63 before the deductable. They contacted Sharon Bacon with that figure June 29, 2011. She called me to try to make payment arrangements for the balance she said is owed. I know I purchased a lemon, but don't know how to get out of this mess. I need some help, This car is not worth what she is trying to make me pay
