I was contacted on 12/9/2012 by Albert Brennan stating that he could assist with a Home Saver Legal --loan modification. That there were federal grant funds availble for those who were underwater in equity in their home to help. He stated they are able to work directly with the asset manager at the company that holds our loan. The terms state under the borrower information that the service he provided would cost 8,395 but with the Federal Grant he recieved under the Home Saver exp. 12/28/2012 he would charge 5,895. Before I agreed, I did try to do my homework and went on-line with BBB and they had only one complaint that was not specific and did not state if had a resolution. It now seems more complaints are rolling in which I wish I would have had back in Dec. He had me send in all the required documents and then sent me back a Loan Modification Disccosure and Agreement that looked very professional with all the legal terms and indicated my new loan terms that he stated were acepted by my loan company. He stated I had to return them before the experiation date due to the federal grant program. Up until 2/26 I did recieve weekly updates from him but as of today 3/20/2013 the calls have stopped and he has not answered emails, voicemails (1-800-685-7541 x518 or on his other number 949-236-4895). I have been in contact with my bank and although they do have paperwork that a request for a modification was recieved with the required documents and they are in the process of review; I do not have think that the terms that Albert Brennan provided me are what will be a reality for my 1st or 2nd. I have been in constant contact with my loan servicing company so I am hopeful I will be able to get something done but think what I was provided as "new terms" by Albert Brennan were not real and only a way to get my money. I would have been better off being persisant with my loan holder and worked directly with them and would have gotten the same results with out being out extra money to do what I have been doing all along. I am hoping legally if we can get our money back if the terms that were quoted did not transpire and were fraudualant and missleading.
