Craigslist Scam
Complaint 222002 Details

I posted a ring on craigslist and this Dr. Good emailed me through craigslist and inquired about the ring. He told me he would pay me through paypal. I explained I new nothing about paypal so he explained how to do this. I received emails thinking they were from paypal which now I know were not saying there was pending balance of 1200 dollars and to ship the goods and send in the tracking number. This I did through US postal service they had to sign for the goods to be delivered. I have documentation that this happen. Then I got another email stating that my funds could not be credited do to not a big enough account with pay pal. It told me I need to ask the buyer to put an extra 800 dollars into my account to expand the account. He did this but I had to send it back to him with a number. This is where I found out I was scammed. My paypal account has no transactions of this. I have spoke to paypal, the police, the bank and the post office. I have emails from this person through craigslist that I also have documentation for. I am reporting it as a scam.
