Complaint 221973 Details

Massive water damage from City of Detroit Sewage System. As a result of non effective maintenance on sewage drains my basement was flooded with 4 1/2 - 5 feet of rainwater. After a complaint was made with the Detroit Water and Sewage Department, it took them over a year and a half to come up with a settlement in which the details have yet to be agreed upon. The settlement has yet to be agreed upon due to the fact that my monetary damages total $41,712.00 and the City of Detroit is offering $2,600, which will not even begin to scratch the surface as far as my damages are concerned. In closing I would like for a unbiased party to resolve my consumer issues with the City of Detroit Water and Sewage Department.
