This lady "Paulina" posted an ad to adopt a pair of AKC English Bulldogs because she had just been put on assignment in Seattle, WA for 8 month and her short term housing wouldn't allow her to keep the dogs she had just gotten before she left Dallas, TX. Well, long story short...she made arrangements for "Pet Airways" to courier the puppies from Seattle, back to Dallas (where we live) for $300.00 per puppy (we agreed to adopt both). All of the communication was done via email and text with "Paulina" because she claimed to be hearing impaired - which we believed. So, after getting everything scheduled and squared away for the transfer of the AKC paperwork & the shipment...we wired the money. Within just a few minutes we were asked to wire an additional $2100.00 (fully refundable) pet insurance by the representative at Pet Airways (561-320-2281) for the transit. Once we were asked that, SCAM popped into our minds. Now neither one of them will respond to our calls or emails!

Once we looked it up, the zip in fact is 98105 & the address belongs to a Petco in Seattle.

Pet Airways phone number is 561-320-2281 (which turned out to be a Google Voice # & they showed to go out of business over a year ago.

They also had a "friend" pick up the wire transfer to expedite the transaction which his number is 386-269-1136 (also in Florida).

Needless to say...This so called self-proclaimed Christan woman scammed us with the help of two foreign gentleman posing to be legit animal couriers.

We are so mad that we allowed people to STEAL our hard-working money!!!
