I was told that 43.50 was the cheapest plan I could get. Then I was told which phones I could choose from. I was never told that there is a difference between data and voice plans. I was never told that if I bought my own phone that I would not have to sign a contract. If they had said the cheapest plan was 18.50 and then showed me which phones to choose from - in that order - that would have been honest. But they did not show me any plans less than 43.50. I only want a cell for emergencies. I hate cells - I told them that. They said that the 30 day period was up and that they could not change the contract. I disagree. They have the technology to change it and they can But if they do then they won't meet their price point. So essentially what they are saying is that if they can get away with cheating you for 30 days then they can get away with it for 3 years. MTS is making money based on my ignorance and their own incompetence at explaining their plans. Or, MTS is deliberately fleecing their customers so they can make money. I have been exploited either way. The supervisor would not talk to me and the operator ran out of things to say when I called to complain.
