I had applied for an emergency cash advance and these people called. First I spoke with Steve, he told me the amounts I was eligible for and what my monthly payments would be. I agreed to a loan amount & monthly payment, gave him my banking info to have the money transferred. He told me he would call me back with information. When he called back, he said because of my credit issues, they were still going to approve the loan but I had to show credit worthiness with them & make my first payment in advance. Once the money was sent, I was told it would be wired to my bank immediately.
Being caught between a rock & a hard place-on the verge of losing my car, I went to Western Union, while he was still on the phone & made my first loan payment. I was told the money would be in my account within a half hour. I got a call at 8:15pm that because my bank was already closed, they were unable to complete the transaction but would call me this morning to confirm the money was deposited.
I checked my account many times this morning, still no money...I have called the number they gave me many times, left messages & finally got a person only to be told they would call me back shortly.
Rick called me back and now they are saying the IRS has held up the deposit because of taxes but they have paid the taxes & included it in my loan but before the IRS will release the money to my account, I have to pay Easy-Payday loans back the money, $250 worth & they want me to send via Western Union again...I was stupid once, not twice.
I got angry and told him he had already scammed me out of my last $200 last night & now I will surely lose my car since that was my car payment.
After going back & forth with him, assuring him I will not pay any more money he said he was going to call his "approval department" and call me back. I'm not holding my breath waiting for that call but now these people have my bank information and I'm scared to death they are going to clean me out.
I just checked my account and their "guaranteed" deposit still is not there.
