I signed up for a cellulite cream trial offer from YOUTHFX on Jan 26th . Was charged around $5 and got the cream shortly . I did not like the product , I got very bad herpes outbreak all over on my thighs and after doing a research online on reputable md sites I found out that people with herpes should avoid arginine as arginine is the main substance needed for the virus to replicate. Guess what, the main ingredient of the YOUTHFX cream is arginine. I went on their website to request return authorization number. That is the confirmation email I got :
‘’This email is being sent to confirm that your account has been cancelled. You will not receive any future shipments or charges.
The Trial portion of the product is yours to keep. If you do not wish to be charged for the included Complete Program box, then that portion of the shipment must be returned to us unopened and undamaged by the due date below. Returns will not be recognized without an RMA number.
Your RMA number is: 1716231352
This is valid for only one package. Your package must be received back to our warehouse before Thursday, February 14, 2013 to avoid being charged $94.31 for for the Complete Program.

To begin with, the trial bottle is all I got which I opened and tried . There was no unopened complete program box to mail back according to the email above. Very deceiving wording to make people believe that they can keep the package. But I called and demended a straight answer and was told mail it back. I clearly wrote the number on the package and mailed it to the address provided. On March 4th (5 weeks later) I saw a pending charge from YOUTHFX for $94! Called their customer service again, they said they never got the product therefore charged my card for the full product price. Besides from wondering why a small bottle of body cream would cost $94 I also wondered why they waited 5 weeks to charge my card, not 14 days as they stated in their cancellation email . And the answer is very simple - by this time a customer would probably get rid off the tracking numbers and all records and forgot all about it. And that is precisely what I did. I do not have a tracking number any more which I did buy as I sure can not pay $94 for a bottle of body cream that gives me horrific herpes pain! I have $50 left in my account which I need to stratch for the rest of the month as I am unemployed .

You will find some unlucky YOUTHFX customers reviews online , not from the people who were able to keep the tracking number for 6 weeks and got their money back with ‘’sincere’’ apologies from YOUTHFX customer service but from people like me did not keep the number long enough. What offends me the most is they keep saying to me that I need to go to the post office and ask them for the tracking number, the Indian guy on the phone reassured me that ‘’they ( the post office) should have it, just go tomorrow and ask,ok?’’. Dah, like what exactly do I asked? ‘’ Give them our address’’, he says, ‘’and call me back tomorrow, ok?’’. What? I am not that stupid. I called back in a couple of minutes to talk to another representative, told him I went to the post office and they don’t have the tracking number and was told ‘’post office should have it, if they say they don’t they failed to deliver and they hide it from you ‘’ . So now the Post Office is responsible , and I was actually advised to file a claim with the post office. Again, how would I do that exactly? ‘’ Just go tomorrow, trust me’’ he says. What a nightmare! I get it, mail gets lost , tracking numbers get lost, but pretty sure what we have here is YOUTHFX treating their customers as if they are idiots with pockets full of money . Apparently, there is an alert on BBB site in regards to YOUTHFX: ‘’ On at least one occasion, BBB sent mail to this company in an attempt to develop a report. The mail was returned by the Post Office; therefore a complete BBB report at this time is unavailable. If you have information that would assist your BBB in developing a report, please speak with a BBB service advisor.’’ I guess Post Office screwed up yet again.
I paid for postage and tracking with my prepaid visa , but unless somebody gets killed or kidnapped and FBI gets involved I will never get a copy the receipt for it ( the tracking number is written on the receipt).
Please, help me to get my money back as I desperately need it.
