I also received a call from AEM that they had a buyer for my time share. They are working with Elite Escrow of Kansas. I paid the maintenance fees as per my contract. But then they have asked for one tax or fee after another, threatening that I would be in breach of contract if I did not pay the fees and that I would loose all the funds put in.
They have told me on numberous occassions that the sale is cleared, only to hit me with another tax or fee. Addtionally they have charged me for a Mexican lawyer to sort it out. I am out thousands. All the funds were sent to mexico as per their instructions. I feel like a real idiot.
My contract is now expired and they have told me they will try and refund the funds that are supposedely in Escrow in Mexico. This has been going on for months.
When I searched about them beofre getting involved with this company there was nothing negative about them, now I see in the last 6 months there is all sorts of terrible stuff.
What do I do now? I am out thousands.
