I have had 4 debits made against my account by Waka network.net. One for $2.99 and another for 19.99 in December last year and a monthly one for 19.99 in January and February of this year. I have called their customer service number and was answered immediately and courteously.
They told me that I had agreed to a trial membership on 12/08/13, and that I would have to call them within one week to cancel and stop them from charging 19.99 per month. I said that this was probably true, but that I had never made any use of their site and that I wanted all of my money back.
They said that they had changed owners as of the new year and would only be able to return to my credit card what they had billed this year.
I said I wanted all of my money returned since I had made no use of their services or even logged into their website. She said that was not possible and I hung up.
