On 1/27/2013 while on the HSN site, a popup appeared asking my wife if she would participate in a survey. When she answered 4 questions she was told she could choose from several 'free' gifts. she chose cosmetic samples and used her Visa card to pay $4.95 for shipping the samples which were received about a week later.
On 2/12/13 the company charged $97.88 to her Visa as a 'recurring' charge. When she called the company she was told that the charge was created when she ordered the samples and did not cancel her account within 10 days as was stated in their "terms and conditions" on their web site. My wife staed that she had never gone to their website nor had she been informed about signing up for a recurring charge each month for six months. She told the company to cancel her account. Further she ststed that she would refuse the product shipment when it arrived. She was then told that the samples she was shipped constituted a 30 day supply of product and was what she was charged $97.88 for.
