International boundaries
We are being billed for an invoice from this company for a local online advertising connection. They have what they consider a legal binding contract (a recording of an employee). No written contract by the owner of the company. Now they are threatening with a collection agency. We have tried to find the listing on the internet by using several different headings in our search and were unable to bring up the listing after searching through dozens of listings regarding our business. Needless to say, I believe this is a scam of some sort and I will be contacting the Maryland attorney general's office of consumer fraud and giving them this information.
