I would like to file a complaint against John Smith. On Jan 22, 2013 I was given the name of John Smith to provide a double proxy marraig for myself and my fiance Steve Darby. He sent me some papwork along with some instructions. I was to remit payment in the amount of $ 600.00. which was sent by moneygram on the 23rd of Jan (300) and the 1st of Feb 2013, for the balance of $300.00
After Sending the money I decided to call A Big Sky Event which is the company that does the double proxy weddings, and spoke with Mr, Marty Stuehler at which time I was informed that they (a big sky event) had never heard of Mr. John Smith.
I then contacted Mr. Smith and explained the situation and asked for a refund of the money which was paid to him. Mr.Smith informed me he had alredy forwarded the money to A Big sky event and it would take a few days to have the money returned.
I called a big sky event and spoke to Mr Stuehler. who informed me that they had not rcvd any money nor had they heard of me or my fiance Steve. Mr. Stuehler informed me that he would have his lawyers look into the situation. Marty proceeded to contact Mr. smith. to find out what was going on. and Mr.Smith knowing that he was caught discontinued the conversation. I hve sent Mr. smith an email and attempted several phone calls to Mr smith in an attempt to have my money returned. So far no luck. any help you can give me in having my money returned would be greatly appreciated. I sent the money via moneygram to Ms Khara Springer Royal Oak MI 48073. I have all the emails and receipts in case you need them
