While checking my visa online I noticed a fee that was taken out through Time Magazine. I did not authorize any renewal on the account and had recently sent them an email saying not to renew and that I don't always get the magazine in the mail and missed several issues. I promptly called them to ask why it was posted and the amount higher than originally. I was told that someone got my visa number and used Time Magazine to take out the money and it was not from them and there was nothing they could do and to call my credit card company.I called my credit card company and had the card blocked immediately. I have the reference number and the phone number and was amazed that they didn't want to help me out. I am not sure if it was or wasn't authorized by Time Magazine. They certainly dismissed me right away , I would never pay for a magazine online if others have access to that info.
