I was a member of AAA Roadside services for many years before this year when I did not renew because I have free Roadside Assistance with my car insurance. This company has sold me 3 defective batteries. The last battery they installed died yesterday morning when I couldn't start car. I called and they sent someone over who tested the battery and said it was fine and that it was an "electrical problem" so I has my road service tow my car to the dealership. The dealership said that it was the battery that was dead so I called AAA and was put on hold several times and finally they said they would not replace the battery which is under warranty. They claimed I had to drive the car 10K miles a year for them to replace it!!! I was never informed of this and I have gone through 3 defective batteries with them. They have pro-rated and charged me every time. Yesterday they said they would replace the battery if it was dead because it is under warranty and today when I called they would not. They sent someone who swore the battery was fine and it's dead. Now I have to pay for a new battery plus labor. I take care of my car and drive it regularly, I just don't drive long distance enough to put 10K miles on it. If there was this rule, I should have been informed of it. Quite the contrary, I was told yesterday if it was their battery again, they would replace it and today they came up with all these excuses. Thank you
