Signed up for free jar of both products, namely Purasilk and purtrintl on January 16, 2013.
Received the jar of purasilk on February 13, 2013. I have not received the sample of purtrintl as of this day February, 18, 2013. My Visa was debited a total of $215.22 on February 12, 2013. I contacted the bank and they advised that they could not conduct a return of funds on this transaction but that I could enter a complaint through them, which I have done.
I attempted contact with Purasil via email and have not received a reply as of this date(see above)
I contacted them through their telephone number 1-888-478-0416 and talked to a rep by the name of Brendon, who advised me that because I had not contacted them on the specified date, I was not eligible for a refund. I requested that he cancel the automatic monthly charge of 102.66. Which he confirmed was done.

  • Just an advice. It is better to just cancel your card than believe this Brendon. If you read the other posts, it is quie obvious that this company is a scam. The creams are marketed under different names with the same modus operandi. I also did not receive the products but my card has been charged. Apparently, they will keep on charging your card and you would just be helpless asking for a refund, which according to some people you will never get. I received one of the product, Purasilk. It doesn't work and in fact, caused some irritations on my skin. I have cancelled my credit card. I have yet to receive my new one but at least I know they will no longer be able to charge me again. Lesson learned.

  • Reported this scam to my Bank, they have advised that I send email to company and also phone the company and demand a refund for the unauthorized debit to my visa card, to cancel the order and and advise about the non delivery of the one procuct. I have done all of the above and have received a rebate on the undelivered product. I am awaiting any other refund they might happen to send at this time. The bank says that it will take responsibility for any other charges to my visa, and not to cancell my Visa card as that would not allow them (the bank)to proceed if I did.
